I am running dBpoweramp Music Converter Release 2025-11-12 (4) (freshly re-installed) on 15.7.2 macOS. Although both Batch Converter and Music Converter work properly in the case of file conversions (e.g., flac to wav or mp3), they both fail to perform same-file conversion, i.e. they do not apply apply DSP effects. Thus, in converting a 24/96 flac to 16/44 flac (Bit Depth 32 - Resample - Bit Depth 16 & Dither), they go through the process of conversion (including Finish), but the resulting output is identical with the input, i.e., a 24/96 file of the same size. I never had this problem before, and I think that it started after the latest upgrade. Any suggestions?

along with those when I'm converting to AAC, Trim Silence, Replaygain, and ID Tag processing for artwork downscaling isn't working for me either with the new update. -

Which DSP and its settings? are you overwriting the existing flac file?Comment
