    MP3 file properties

I used a CD ripper to convert FLAG and then a music converter to convert FLAG to MP3, but the converted file properties do not include information about the codec, bit rate, sample rate, or song length. Perhaps this is why I can't play the music.

FLAG itself has no problems, the information is displayed, and it can be played.

This issue persists even when I convert directly from the CD ripper to MP3. I would like to know what the cause is.

Something on your system is blocking 'GetPopupinfo.exe' from running or access:

Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs

I checked Windows Defender as per your advice. It was off by default. I enabled it, added six program files, and tried converting the files again, but nothing changed. Is there anything else I should check next?

Try uninstalling, full reboot of windows and reinstall dBpoweramp.

I uninstalled dbpoweramp and deleted the dbpoweramp folder on the C drive.
Then, I rebooted and reinstalled dbpoweramp, but the problem persisted. Installing the older version, R16.6, also didn't fix the issue. Even after reinstalling, the app settings were still saved as they were before. Could there be a problem with the settings?
Also, when checking the file with MP3Tag, the following error message appears.

This means the mp3 file is corrupted. Try a known good file, or create one.
