MP3 file properties

I used a CD ripper to convert FLAG and then a music converter to convert FLAG to MP3, but the converted file properties do not include information about the codec, bit rate, sample rate, or song length. Perhaps this is why I can't play the music.

FLAG itself has no problems, the information is displayed, and it can be played.

This issue persists even when I convert directly from the CD ripper to MP3. I would like to know what the cause is.

Something on your system is blocking 'GetPopupinfo.exe' from running or access:

I checked Windows Defender as per your advice. It was off by default. I enabled it, added six program files, and tried converting the files again, but nothing changed. Is there anything else I should check next?

Try uninstalling, full reboot of windows and reinstall dBpoweramp.
