    Bug in 'Edit ID Tags'

    Hey Spoon,

    there is a bug in two latest Windows versions (2025-7-7 and 2025-7-14). If there are multiple artists, and the input focus is on the correspondig edit field of the dialog 'Edit ID Tags', the delimiters '; ' disappear. As soon as the focus is on a different tag, the delimiters reappear. None the less this makes editing the artist edit field impossible, because as soon as one enters any character, the former content is destroyed and the delimiters are erased.

    I didn't check other edit fields which can have multiple values.

      Thanks for the report.
      It looks like it saves correctly but fails to show multiple values; if you load tagged file in another app (such as PerfectTUNES) do you see correct multiple values?

        <now released>

        Put in c:\program files\dbpoweramp
        Might have to close Explorer processes with Task Manager to be able to overwrite old dMCShell.dll

            Hey Dat Ei,

            Thanks for pointing this out. I just ran into the same issue and thought I was doing something wrong. Glad to see it was a confirmed bug and already fixed. Appreciate you sharing your findings and the follow-up from PeterP. The quick turnaround saved me a headache.

            Cheers!

              I ran into a similar issue (which I posted about in the wrong forum here, to keep myself humble), but with the Composer field. Will this fix address that as well or will that require its own hot fix?

                  Not sure if this is related, but for me (on Windows 11) the tag editor does not show at all. I right-click on some M4a files, click "Edit ID tags" and nothing. It's not that it's open somewhere in the background as was previously the case. Nothing happens at all.

                      Yes, though I'm not sure whether it worked after the 7/14 or 7/21 updates. In any case, reinstalling seems to have fixed it.
