Hi, I have a question regarding volume normalization.
I have an audio file I would like to be -14.00 LUFS. When I upload the file to https://lufs.org/ it says integrated -14.60 LUFS.
I do Convert -> Add EBU R128 [track gain] effect -> Set to -14 LUFS with x8 amplification. I convert and scan the new file to https://lufs.org/ and it says integrated -17.99 LUFS?
When I try with Adaptive [EBU R128] it goes to -16.73 integrated LUFS when scanning it.
Am I doing something wrong, or most likely I'm not understanding something here.
I have a large collection of music I would like to publish to Spotify and as I understand -14 LUFS is the recommended so I am trying to get it all to that as a batch conversion if possible. Also, if there is a way I can append something to the filename such as "LUFS Adjusted" or something like that automatically that would also be great so I don't have to manually rename every file.
Thanks for the software.
