Re: Windows 10 will not convert
Sorry, I am at a lost as to the cause of the problem.
It has been stated recently on these forums, that dBpoweramp Music Converter is compatible with Windows 10.
So, assuming that dBpoweramp is installed correctly, I don't know what else to suggest.
Hopefully, someone else can advise here.Leave a comment:

Re: Windows 10 will not convert
If you right-click on your %tmp% folder, select Properties, then select the Security tab. You should see a list of users under Group or user names.
Select each user listed in Group or user names and the permissions (Full Control, Modify, Read & execute etc.) are listed in the Permissions below.
Are all permissions ticked for all users?Leave a comment:

Re: Windows 10 will not convert
Are you getting errors for any codec/utility codec in Convert To (including Test Conversion), or just mp4 >> mp3 (lame)?Leave a comment:

Re: Windows 10 will not convert
This error means that dBpoweramp cannot write to the %tmp% file location, if you type this into the address bar of windows file explorer it will show you where it is.Leave a comment:

Windows 10 will not convert
Hi, I've been a registered user of dB since 2005, always loved it.
What I usually do is right-click on a mp4 video and then "convert to", then selected mp3-lame and everything was perfect.
So I upgraded to Windows 10. The software seems to running fine but when I try to convert I get this error message :
Error converting to , 'C:\Users\Vincent\Downloads\jwbon_E_201508_01_r480 P.mp4' to 'C:\Users\Vincent\Downloads\jwbon_E_201508_01_r480 P'
Error no encoder specified. [dBCoreConverter::ParseCommandLine]
Did a clean uninstall, re-installed, same error.
Here are my codecs, if it can help. Thank you very much.
