dBpoweramp hangs constantly - GetPopupInfo.exe

When I'm tagging files, dBpoweramp seems to hang maybe one out of every 3-4 times. It happens when I'm tagging files on the local drive as well as on network drives. Windows end process dialog seems to point to GetPopupInfo.exe as the file that explorer is waiting for when this happens.

I am using Registered Reference 14.4, DSP Effects 9.

I've Googled this and haven't seen any solutions. Is there anything that can be done? It's really a big time-suck and very irritating.

What type of files do you tag?

WAV and FLAC.

it is not a good program, it blocks most of dBpoweramp from doing anything

Thanks, I'll do some testing with the AV disabled. I've had some other issues with it as well over the past year or so since Webroot bought it. When it used to be PrevX it was hands-down the best AV I've ever seen. Fast, unobtrusive. Dramatically moreso than any other AV. Sadly, those days may be over now. :( Will report back.
