    Problem with cyrillic letters

    Hi!

I'm converting FLAC to MP3 nad have a problem with cyrillic letters:
These seem to 'get lost'. Doesn't matter if these are in the file name or tag, they are just replaced by question marks.
So after converting, I have to correct the file names and/or tags manually.

Latest dBpoweramp version on Win 7 64 bit.

    Any idea or workaround?

    Re: Problem with cyrillic letters

Run dBpoweramp Configuration >> Codecs >> Advanced Options

    Make sure Mp3 ID Tagging:

    Tag Creation: ID3v2
    ID3v2 Text Encoding: Unicode-16

        Re: Problem with cyrillic letters

If you convert FLAC to FLAC (in a different location) the characters are correct in the new flac?

If you hold the mouse over the new mp3 file (popup info tip) it will say which ID tag type is contained within, what does it say?
