Hi there: up until recently I was having no problems but after installing the Nero AAC decoder I am unable to convert AIFF files purcahsed at HD Tracks to make them 44.1 16 bit for my iPod and for CD burning I keep getting "File error reading chunk. [clAIFFHandler::ScanFile]" I deleted the nero codex and uninstalled DBPower and reinstalled it, but that didn't solve the problem. Help! I am running Windows 7 32 bit. I tried converting Flac files I purchased and the converter works for them.

Re: File error reading chunk. [clAIFFHandler::ScanFile]
Co-incidence, the nero codec would not change AIFF.
Make sure you have R14.4 -

Re: File error reading chunk. [clAIFFHandler::ScanFile]
I am getting the same error:'[clAIFFHandler::ScanFile]. My System: Windows 7 x64, Running dmc 14.4 registered, converting 24bit 176kb from AIFF to Flac. Debug file has a warning 'RiffSizeLeft != FileSizeLeft' must be extra data on end of file. I am posting to this thread assuming that these two issue maybe similar.
Any advice on how to correct or compensate?
ThanxComment

Re: File error reading chunk. [clAIFFHandler::ScanFile]
See the last message:
"File error reading chunk" if try converting hdtracks aif 176/24 to ANYTHING else - dBpoweramp ForumI've spent hours on this, reading all posts I can find. Have purchased latest software, even updated that to Release14.4 beta and dsp effects to Release 9 beta. I want to get from aif to wav, and from 176/24 to something less e.g. 88/24 or 88/16 or 44.1/16 even. I can get some other hdtrack files from 196/24 WAV to, e.g. 96/24
We have come across this before, some AIFF files have issues from HDTracks, the warning is just a warning that the file is not 100% correct.Comment
