When trying to rip music from a CD, I'd rather just use one core, as it's much faster. Typically, I use DBPowerAMP 11 to rip my CDs since it only takes a couple of minutes. However, when my computer tries to use all 4 cores of my Core i7 to rip music from a CD in DBPowerAMP 13, it takes 30 minutes compared to 5 minutes. Ripping CDs with multiple cores is asking for a lot, as CDs have a slow read speed.
Is there a way to disable and enable the multiple core support in DBPowerAMP? Multiple cores is a plus if I am converting music from one format to another on my hard drive.
