When I use batch converter to convert FLAC to m4a using nero codec, the alubm name, artist, Genre, all show up as the file is imported into iTunes. Unfortunately, windows vista does not show this info in the explorer view of those converted files. Is this a vista thing with m4a? Or is there some conversion thing I am doing wrong in the converer settings?
I use:
[IFCOMP][IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],Various Artists[]\[album][IFMULTI] Disc [disc][]\[track] [artist] - [title][][IF!COMP][IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[artist][]\[album]\[artist] - [album][IFMULTI] Disc [disc][] - [track] - [title][]
for file names. I set Quality to VBR .5. I don't force a profile. I have no DSP effects.
How do I get titles to show up in the vista explorer listing? And is the quality settings good enough for iPod like applications? Thanks in advance.
