By the way, now when i convert from wav to alac, files are converted but ALL files fail at verification. I'm sure there is something I need to install...but what?Comment

This is very strange. dbpoweramp says that the files contains no tag, but foobat2000 reads perfectly the tag.
I used a new version of tag&rename. Could it corrupt the files?.
The facts are:
converting from FLAC or WAV to ALAC (did't manage with new version of tag&rename at all) FAIL at verification
converting from ALAC to any other codec FAIL at encoding
ALAC files can play and show tags in foobar2000 but can't play in Windows Media Player and can't show tags in dbpoweramp.Comment

this is very strange, i never needed to install this to do the ALAC encoding

For the direct show configuration .txt file (where you add extensions manually), remove the .m4a because our codec is directly implements .m4a and you should not sepcify .m4a for directshow decoder.Comment
