    Missing Audio After Conversion

Whether it is ripped from a CD or converting an existing file, DB cuts off a few seconds to over a minute of audio at the end of a track. I notice it gets worse if I have multiple files to batch convert.

I notice this when I convert or when I download something someone else has converted in DB.

There are no DSP effects running and I'm trying to convert to mp3.

      Case in point, I just tried converting a 5hr 54min 44sec audio to mp3 and the final product was 5hr 54min 06sec.

They might be showing the length, but the fact of the matter is that the audio is being cut off when I listen to it. I can play each file and the converted file WILL have audio cut from it.

Try ripping to wave, is there missing audio? also using which mp3 encoder, lame or fraunhofer?

I'm using the Lame codec. I converted a wav file and it is ok.

Convert the mp3 file with the problem to wave, does it play ok?

Plays ok and is the same length as the cut mp3.

                    Re: Missing Audio After Conversion

On last test, convert the wave file (which was ripped direct to wave and was the correct length), convert it to mp3, what is the length?

Which version of dBpoweramp are you using?

                      Re: Missing Audio After Conversion

I ripped a wav directly from the source and it was short about 30 seconds and converted it to mp3 and that was short 1 second from the wav.

                      I am using version 13.1.
