MPC and DMC Audio CD Input...

Hi,

MPC is a very fast encoder (~13x on my 1600+), but I prefer doing a slow rip (cd speed : 8x) ; What does the MPC codec doing if he doesn't have enough data to encode at his speed (~13x) ? Will the quality of MPC file contain some mistakes ?

The quality will be exactly the same, in all cases.

So MPC codec set is encoding speed to the cd speed.

Please excuse my lack of technical expertise, but I am trying to find a way to use .mpc format files I have downloaded. I have installed the dbpoweramp file converter and the Wavepack codec. Still, my converter cannot read these .mpc files. I hope to convert them to mp3 files so my CD burner can handle them and I can make CDs to listen to at work.
If you could reply offline, I would be very grateful.

You don't need the Wavepack codec, get the musepack (mpc) codec from Codec Central.
