each of these files orignal size is betwen 2.3 and 3.6gb in PCM wave from.

i get the same error with aotuv ogg, and using oggenc's latist non-aotuv version(replaced the sse oggenc2.exe with the base version from rarewares)

I really am not sure whats causing this, its quite strange, since oggdrop encodes it fine(havent tryed a standalone mpc encoder since there isnt a musedrop from what i can find.

from what i can tell oggdrop only converts supported formats and does it dirrectly, oggenc can do the same thing with the same supported formats (flac, ogg, exct)

not sure abou mpc's encoder, I use to LOVE mpc, to bad it went stale for so long(seems its under dev again :D )

its very odd, Spoon do you got any idea about a joiner that can join ogg files? If I could get that I would beable to just convert with dbp and join, suprised that dbp dosnt got a join function honestly, the split is handy, used it on some HUGE audio book files i have had and wanted to cut up to listen to in parts(my older player was very low capacity)

well thanks spoon, any idea if we will see a native x64 dbp any time in the next couple years?

dMC currently works on x64 dbp, as far as shell extensions (right-click menu) and tabs on the properties page go. Currently, there isn't really a need to port dMC to a 64-bit programming base, as there isn't really an advantage gained. Also, since there is only one developer, Spoon, the chance of having both a 32-bit and 64-bit versions are slim.

There would be no speed increase if it was native 64 bit (when audio converting).

After thinking about this some more, the only advantage I see to going native 64-bit is the ability to convert files that are larger than 4GB uncompressed, but the need to do this isn't very common.

the larger file size was the main thing i was thinking of, but now im even seeing conversion errors with some mp3's that are 20-30sec long with vorbis or mpc very odd, flac works then i can oggdrop it but its kinda a hassle :/
