    Ogg Bug(aotuv)

    Error converting to ogg vorbis (aoTuV SSE3), 'C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Adams\2 - Secondary Phase\3 - Tertiary Phase.wav' to 'C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Adams\-\3 - Tertiary Phase.ogg'
Error writing audio data to StdIn Pipe [clEncoder::EncodeBlock]
this happens with files at random, not sure why, I have tested this using lancer vorbis ogg drop MT and normal (sse3) and they work FINE without any errors.

this is with r13, again not sure whats causing this, but normal vorbis encoder works(just not as good for quility per bitrate) and ogg drop with the same encoder revision works fine.......very weird!!!

      Error converting to Musepack, 'C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Adams\3 - Tertiary Phase.ogg' to 'C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Adams\3 - Tertiary Phase.mpc'
Error writing audio data to StdIn Pipe [clEncoder::EncodeBlock]
isnt just vorbis encoder, i will upload and link the file thats causing the error, maby you can track down what the cause is with that to help, tested this on 2 systems same error, no error if i use oggdrop or normal vorbis mode, but standalone encoders cause this with .wav and .ogg (and probly other formats) on this spicific file.

uploading the file to zshare, something about the file causes this it seems, nomatter the compression level so i used oggdrop to shrink it(in testing) and since db still errors on me i am uploading the file so you can test it yourself.

not upset, really love dbpoweramp, just would like to beable to use it insted of oggdrop as db allows me to do more then just recode/encode.

oh spoon, can dbpoweramp join files? I know it can split, but I cant remmber if it can join or how(got some audio books i ripped and want to join them into single files insted of multi tracks from multi disks )

        thanks m8

Tried, it is autov which is erroring out and quitting, do not know why though (autov would have to be compiled in debug, with my compilers being different to the original compile it would not be a good test).

mpc gave the same error, not sure why tho, also strange is that the oggdrop based on Autov works perfectly for the same file(its really fing weird!!)

not sure what the cause could be.......

muse pack(latist version) gives me the above error(i posted it) with the same file......and i fully belive it could be something about said encoders that is erroring, but why those 2, AFIK ogg and mpc arent related at all......

Try mp3 (Lame) if you have R13.1, all 3 (mpc, ogg autov & mp3 lame) communicate with the encoders through stdio.

lame didnt error, but it encoded alot slower then the others(about 1/2 as fast)

thats the same error ogg gets, like i said whats strange is that lancers oggdrop works, but ogg and mpc thru dbpoweramp give this error(the sorce can be mp3,wav,ogg same error for that file i linked)

Ok this effects normal oggenc as well(not just lancer) I replaced the SSE encoder with the latist oggenc2.exe (not lancer based) and it gives same error........

I think it is the size of the file you are encoding, > 4 GB (decompressed)
