Delay Playing Tracks

There's a 10 second delay before a track starts playing in CD Ripper. I thought the problem was with the drive but other applications don't have this problem. Is there a setting somewhere that fixes this?

The drive has to spin up to speed.

Which drive are you using?

In the Options screen, under CD ROM, what are the Ripping Speed, Spin-up Time and Spin-down After settings?

The drive is an HP 9100. Ripping speed is Maximum. Spin-up time is (none). Spin-down is (default).
