Hi folks,
I need some advice. On January 20, I downloaded and installed dBpoweramp Reference R12.4 Trial and installed the program. Then about couple of days ago I purchased a registration which allowed me to download a file named dBpoweramp-AMG-2008-84734.exe that should be run and supposedly activate the software. So I did. When starting the program after applying this "dollar patch", there were no signs of any registration, and since there is no "About" page as in practically all other programs, the registration status cannot be verified. Today the trial period ran out and my fears were confirmed. I am left with a dysfunctional trial program, without any signs of secure ripping options and other features that I paid $28 to get. The only thing the registration program apparently succeeded in doing, was to register my subscription with AMG, which has 364 days left. Uninstalling and reinstalling the program, the codec pack, and the registration patch did nothing to help. Any clues? The support info on the website is, politely speaking, sparse.
