    Re: Error Message when Converting

    I have release 11.5
So obviously I have an older version. I thought I did download and install the latest version. What should I do? Un-install, and install again?

I had registered, and payed, a few months ago, yet my registration now says: "Unregistered.

    Thanks.

Also, you'll need to uninstall all of your current codec versions and install the new versions that are compatible with r12 from the main Codec Central.

                Re: Error Message when Converting

I have been encountering errors in the conversion of .WAV files to .WMA with the registered version of DBPowerAmp under both WindowsXP and Vista Business.

I am using DMC12.2, and re-downloaded v. 12 compatible versions of the CODECS before deinstalling DMC and all CODECS, and re-installing the registered 12.2 version and WMA 9 and 10 CODECS.

The settings I am using are:

                - Windows Media Audio 9(XP) 10(Vista)
                - Windows Media Audio Voice 9
                - 4KBps, 8kHz, mono

                Both get the same error:

Error converting to Windows Media Audio 9, 'C:\Documents and Settings\Bill\Desktop\GaryLambrecht20070902_late.w av' to 'C:\Documents and Settings\Bill\Desktop\GaryLambrecht20070902_late.w ma'
                Error Compressing to WMA [clEncoder::OutputThisBlock]

Can anybody give me a suggestion?

The posting by LtData under my original issue confirmed the issue.

I have placed my original file in http://www.bayareachurch.org/wav/Gar...70902_late.wav

A quick resolution would be greatly appreciated.

                Bill

This low setting for WMAVoice is cuasing issues, use the next one up (higher bit rate).
