just to be clear: Are you saying that dBpoweramp will not split cue files at the current version, or are you saying dBpoweramp will never split cue files because you don't intend to implement this feature?
Are not cue files self inflicted? To me they have always been the solution to a nonexistent problem: Gapless playback.
I suppose it's not uncommon to acquire audio files from less than reputable places… but their use of cue files should be an indicator of incompetence.
My point is: If your music is from an online store, you should be able to redownload it in a format that does not have cue files. If it's from a CD, re-rip correctly.
Anyway, I can probably make a script that can read cue files and make split-out audio files accordingly, but it's not going to be as amazing as if it were an included DSP.

and both cuetools and foobar2000 will split cuefiles into separate lossless files. Point and click.
