Using replay gain values for volume normalization when transcoding

Is it possible to use replaygain values for volume normalization when transcoding? Ie, flac w/ replaygain -> mp4 with normalized volume.

Yes, use the volume normalize dsp effect.

Thanks, it wasnt clear if this used replaygain values or typical volume normalization techniques.

From the DSP help file, it says that under Volume Normalize there is a "ReplayGain" choice that doesn't use tags but physically changes the file. I guess this will also use the values that are already there, or at least that is what it looks like to me.

Once I actually downloaded and opened the volume normalizer DSP it was obvious, but from the name alone I would not have expected the number of options that are available.

I hope that if replaygain values are already calculated it doesnt recalculate them.
