I used the previous version of the mp3 to m4a codec to create ringtones for my sprint phone as that seemed to be the only thing that worked.
I'll clarify a bit... With the previous codec for converting mp3 to m4a, I'd convert the sound bit that I'd made from mp3 to m4a resulting in little change of size and full compatibility with my phone. When I updated, it seemed to rid of my usual "to m4a" option and replaced it with Apple Lossless, which I am not familiar with in the slightest.
Or at least I don't think I am. So I went about like usual and converted the 450 kb 128kbps file to apple lossless...and found that the new converted size was well in excess of 3000 kb.
There are no settings for me to change with the new apple lossless and the nero aac doesn't work for me. So I would just like to know if there is some way I can find the old codec, revert to that and go about like normal.
Sorry if I sound like a total boob, I was just used to it working like normal and now it doesn't lol.
