installation problem please help

Ive installed (or rather tryed to install and run) dBpowerAMP-r2.exe

The install program seems to run to completion. I get to install preferences and configuration. But when I press the "Run dbPowerAmp" I get the following error message(s).

1) Amp.exe has generated erros and will be closed by windows.
You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. ok.

I have reinstalled the dBpowerAMP-r2.exe hoping to workaround the error, but then recieve the following error.

2)Application popup: dBpowerAMP : Setup has detected an older version of dBpowerAMP.

Uninstall old version before installing new [recommended]?

I initiate the required/recommended uninstall before the 2nd reinstall. And at the end of the 2nd install, I get the initial error.

And then use the link in my signature below to download the latest dAP beta. Don't worry, its worked just fine for me even though it IS a beta. It being beta just doesn't mean Spoon wants to make it a full release yet and is still working on adding features to it.
