You do not now, it is whilst we were fixing this issue, the latest release is the one you want.

I have the latest, it`s been working good for a few months, but last week bricked on me. rebooted, same thing. say no disk inserted

macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally OS X will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. This security setting can also be set at a later date, click the Apple menu icon: System Preferences >> Security & Privacy >>

This thread was macOS specific, anyhow for Windows:

Check in Windows explorer after inserting the CD if select the CD drive it should show the tracks: track01 track02, etc.

If it does then check the drive is the correct one selected in CD ripper, if there are multiple, also:

Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs
