CD Drive doesn't start ripping

Recently I have bought a new PC with 2 CD drives (Drive 1: Plextor -PX-891SAF Plus; Drive 2: HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM GH24NSD5). After re-installing dbpoweramp CD ripper and successful configuration of AccurateRip for the Plextor drive, the drive worked initially correct. Without any obvious reason now the Plextor drive doesn't start running and ripping after inserting a new CD (meta data are correctly identified). The 2nd drive works without any objection. I have no idea what is going wrong.
PS: The drive is working fine in other issues.

Try a different ripping program, such as EAC, if that does not work then it is likely a issue with the drive its self.

I have tested the Plextor drive with EAC. It works without problems. If I'm waiting for several minutes after start of the ripping process then the rip status says "Pass 1 Ripping 3%" und the displayed speed is "Speed x0.0".

You must have a setting which the drive does not like, try switching to burst ripping, does that work?

After switching to burst ripping, you will find the result in att. 2 (apparently indeed a secure ripping). During observing the ripping process I could not recognize any encoding (CPU encoding xx%) after ripping of the individual tracks. In order to further inform you the current set up please find att. 3 - 5. Perhaps it would be the best to do a complete new configuration of AccurateRip for the Plextor drive. Is that possible?

Switch off C2 error pointers and try again.
