I'm 99,99% sure that this is not a general problem of the software but of your desktop. I've ripped more than 3.3000 CDs over the last years. I've never ever had a phenomenon like yours.

      Re: CD-drive not recognized

You won't believe it: i reinstalled Malwarebytes again and now Cd ripper recognized my CD drive and ripping is running now.
Tracks with their title, album art are recognised and the result will be written on my NAS.

Thanks for your help and advice.
      Hopefully the result is sustainable!

            No, you are German.

            "Datei" is "file" in German.
I worked in Essen for a year (RWE).

              See:

Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs

                  Re: CD-drive not recognized

You're right, I'm german. And yes "Datei" means file, but with a space character in the middle it means "The egg". This has several different and deeper meanings.

Yes, I known. "That egg" is "Dat Ei" in Dutch.

                    Vielen Dank und Gruesse Nachbar!
