Versions that support metadata providers

Hi -

Can we please get a definitive list of which metadata providers are supported by which versions of dBpoweramp? There have been various forum posts with some of this info, like this one that seems to say v17 is required for Musicbrainz and the static FreeDB hosted by dbpoweramp.com.

A definitive list would help a lot with troubleshooting and deciding on upgrades to newer versions.

The scene is always changing, a list which said R15 works with Musicbrainz would not stand if Musicbrainz update their servers.

Right now only R17 will read from the 4 providers, R16 will read as it stands from GD3 and discogs only.

Thanks for the response. Could you also clarify what works with R14/R15? Or are they out of support now?

Reason for asking is we have suddenly found some of our R14 but also R16 metadata retrieval is failing, so we're trying to work out the common ground.

Sorry one other question - is there a list of what URLs the metadata sources use for lookups? We suspect a firewall/proxy issue, but it's hard to track down without knowing what the app is trying to query. Thanks.

R14 and R15 are long past supported (R14 is about 10 years old).
