Ripping in DSD format

Hello.

I tried ripping several CDs in the DSD128 format with the latest version of CDripper (R17 trial), but all failed.

All are displayed as errors.

I was able to rip with Flac so there is no problem with the CDs.


Please tell me how to rip in DSD format.

Hey nori,

would this make any sense? Not really from my point of view. The best you can get out of a Audio CD is 16bit per channel with a sampling rate of 44,1 kHz, because a CD does not contain more information than that.

Hey nori,

I only know the DSD decoder, but not a DSD encoder. The decoder can be used to convert files with DSD codec in files with any other codec for which you have an encoder.

What exact error message is shown? do you have windows or osx?

Sorry, didn't notice that. That might be useful for HiRes music.

Nevertheless - you cannot squeeze more out of an Audio CD than 16 bit /ch at 44.1 kHz.

Bug confirmed, to fix open CD Ripper >> Green options button at top >> CD Ripper Options

'When Ripping' change to 'rip direct to final filenames'
