I have some .dsf files I would like to convert to Flac. The guide says there is a DSD Codec which does this, but DbPowerAmp config does not list it.

What to do?

I am digitizing my 500+ albums and have found that DSD ripping sounds the best to my ears. I have also found that converting the DSD files to 24 bit 192 wav also sound great, better than flac, better than any other lossless.

I had an album that was in WavPack format (.wv) files, and installed the WavPack codec from Codec Central.
However, dBpoweramp was unable to convert any of them with the following error:

I tried ripping several CDs in the DSD128 format with the latest version of CDripper (R17 trial), but all failed.

All are displayed as errors.

I was able to rip with Flac so there is no problem with the CDs.

I have about 115 DSD albums I want to convert to 44/16 flac, and normalize each album to 0db.

The first part is easy, the second part I'm having trouble.

I could just add 6db to each album, but this causes clipping or some albums are too low.

Does anyone know how to edit DSF Tags on MacOS? I am using Release 16.1 (Registered Reference). DSD appears under codecs installed but the files don't seem to be supported by dBpoweramp.

When converting a DSD/DSF file to flac, DBpoweramp downsamples the flac file to - for example 24/192, whatever setting you have under the advanced options.
My question is: does it do upsampling when the original DSD files has a lower frequency? In other words, does it upsample a hypothetically...

I have no problem playing DSD64 via DoP, but DSD128 and 256 can't be played. Is there any setting I am missing or it just support up to DSD64 for the time being?

dbpoweramp v.14.4 always failed converting DSD files in DSF format to WAV.
