I've been using dBpoweramp for many years. I just bought a Surface Pro 6 with Windows 10. I had no problems installing and registering from my previous purchase. I'm using an Samsung portable DVD writer for the CD read. Everything opens OK, and will preview play the CD. But when I select Rip, the screen flashes to something very fast, and flashes back to the track listing without ripping anything. Any ideas on what the problem may be? Or any other details I may need to provide? I downloaded a trial of another software to test rip, and it worked fine. But I love dBpoweramp and would prefer to keep using it.

Re: CD not ripping, flashes screen, returns to track listing
I bought a powered USB hub to see if that was the problem. But it made no changes to my situation. I don't think this is a Surface problem, since another software worked OK. But I just wanted to see if there are any other Surface Pro owners out there that are having issues. -

To totally clear all settings from dBpoweramp, reinstall then try ripping with nothing changed. Does it work?Comment
