';' is a special character in the Tags for dBpoweramp, it separates multiple artists, when written to ID Tags it is written correctly for the tag format (such as / for ID3 tags).Comment

it was all going well ti,, v16.5 .. the this ... pls could you go thru both the screen shots & see if I may have typed a wrong character to be replaced by an incorrect one ...

Add the DSP effect 'ID Tag Processing' on the Manipulation tab select:
Multiple Artists to 'Artist1; Artist2' for non multiple artist aware programs
iTunes is not compatible with multiple artists.Comment

just to clarify : after i do the above, sugested by you, can i make the ";" to be replaced by "," in the "Tag & filename" settings ??Comment

No, they would be presented with ; between them.Comment
