Play Sound After Conversion Causing Crashes

I'm having an issue where DSP Play Sound After Conversion seems to be causing an error message to pop up every time it's used. The scenario is that I rip a cd, the sound is played, and then a message is displayed that "DBpoweramp Music Converter quit unexpectedly". The thing is that DBpoweramp is not actually quitting and I can close the error message and continue using the app. Still I would love for this not to happen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

If you remove the DSP effect it does not show that message?

Do you hear any sound with the effect? have you tried selecting a different audio file to play?

Yes, if I remove the DSP I do not get an error message.

The chosen sound for the DSP does play before the error message and chosing a different sound had no effect. They were even in different locations on the drive and one was a WAV, the other was an AIFF.

And just to add more info, I'm using DBpoweramp v16.1 on a Mac running OS 10.12.4
