Missing online sites for metadata

I have been using R15 for a number of years and then last week when I came to rip some albums I had no online sites appearing to provide metadata for the cd as usual - just the cached ones from the cd tracks. Thinking that this was a problem with R15 and the latest edition of Windows 10 I upgraded to R16 but I still seem to have the same issue. Do you have any suggestions?

It's possible but I haven't upgraded my kaspersky version for 12 months and everything was working fine 2 - 3 months ago when I last ripped a batch of cd's

Even if you didn't upgrade, security solutions update themselves. Heuristic algorithms can be the game changer too. Have a look at the firewall, if it is blocking the ips of those metadata servers.
