Hardware Configuration:
Windows 7 64 Bit i7-4790K 4GHz 16 GB Ram
two ASUS CD/DVD Drives DRW-24B3LT
DB Poweramp 16.1
When running two instances of DB Poweramp, one for each optical drive, the encoding process hangs (or stalls) at various % on that drive. When adding a new CD to the other optical drive, the stalled encoding eventually frees up and completes the ripping process. Then, the encoding stall moves to the second drive until I add a new CD to the first optical drive. The process continues to switch from drive to drive. The only constant is that the encoding stall moves from instance(drive) to instance(drive). The encoding stall seems to be on random tracks but always moves from instance to instance. I only ever open two instances of DB Poweramp CD Ripper.
Eliminating the encoding pause will greatly increase ripping speed. Using multi-encoder with three encoders: FLAC, MP3 and WMA 10. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
