Hey all!
I'm super new to this site. I Just downloaded dBpoweramp to archive some of my rare promo CDs and such. I've looked through the threads and I think I've found the settings that best suit my needs for ripping. I'd like someone to explain the log to me a bit. One of the tracks had frames that re-ripped and I just want to know the definitive answer on what the outcome is. It looks like:
Track 1: Ripped LBA 81 to 26900 (5:57) in 8:12. Filename: /Users/curtisday/Desktop/Loon/Ain't no Gangsta-Up in a Maze/01 Loon - Ain't no Gangsta.wav
Secure (Warning) [Pass 1 & 2, Ultra 1 to 4, Re-Rip 4 Frames]
CRC32: 286E3877 AccurateRip CRC: D0F538C2 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 002-00011eb9-0002f275-0c026902-1]
Re-rip Frame: 10522 (00:02:19.213) matched 10 / 12
Re-rip Frame: 10523 (00:02:19.226) matched 10 / 19
Re-rip Frame: 12024 (00:02:39.240) matched 10 / 10
Re-rip Frame: 13768 (00:03:02.493) matched 10 / 15
I know sonically this should sound flawless to me but from a technical standpoint is this showing that there was any data loss? I've ripped this track several times and each time different frames re rip (the last 2 always stay the time). If possible I'd like to rip this without the errors to appease my OCD :P however I know that it may not be possible as this is a 13 year old CDr. Any info or pointers would be great! Thanks!
