dBpoweramp - CD Ripper - CD drive unknown

Hi, I have changed my PC and on this one the CD drive is not recognized by the CD Ripper when inserting a CD . I am on Windows 7 as local administrator. I have tried to run the CD ripper as Administrator, but still the same result: CD Drive unknown - unknown
Here are the CD drivers on my PC:
- ATA ST500 DM002-1BD14SCSI Disk Device
- hp DVD-ROM SN-108FB SCSI CdRom Device
Would you know how to fix this?

The other drive reports its name correctly?

You have 2 cd drives, the other drive is working correctly?

Hi, my mistake, actually the first one is not a CD driver; I only have one, i.e. the second one hp DVD-ROM SN-108FB SCSI CdRom Device.

It is the HP which is showing as Unknown?

That's correct.

Try the program 'Exact Audio Copy' to see how it reports the drive, if unknown also then the issue is 100% with drive.
