Hdcd dsp

I am adding the HDCD DSP to my profile. There is a box at the top of the pop-up window for "+6dB Amplification."

I asked AI what to do: Copilot says check the box. Gemini says DO NOT check the box. They each give conflicting reasons why I should do they suggest.

What should I really do???

Leave off, and use alternative volume normalization such as replaygain ebr128

Sorry, I wanted to clarify what you mean. Is it recommended to add HDCD (with +6 box unchecked) DSP, or is it recommended to not add the HDCD to my DSP list?

I have ReplayGain DSP added.
