    Sample offset

I have Dbpoweramp rel. 15.4(1) installed on a 2010 iMac running El Capitan. I've also connected a Buffalo DVD reader/writer to a USB port. What I would like to know is how I can change or reset the Sample offset for this drive. It's set at +48 which I think was my mistake. I've gone through all the options and cannot find anything that allows me to do this. If I was to delete the app using something like AppCleaner and reinstall it would this help?

    Thanks.

The app reports that it's a "BUFFALO - Optical Drive". The model * on the drive's label is DVSM-PC58U2VW.

      Thanks.

If the offset cannot be set, then AccurateRip has self set the offset from a known value.

So, there's no way to reset the value? I notice that in the "~/Library/Application Support" folder there is a sub folder "Accuraterip". If I was to delete that and reinstall dBpoweramp will it work?

          Thanks again.

It is likely the settings are stored in a folder dBpoweramp.

              Hi Spoon,

I'm having a similar issue with inputing the wrong offset

My version is MAC 16 reference,

PIONEER - BD-RW BDR-S11 is not listed yet and how do I do a offset calibration for this drive.

              Thanks for the advice
              Best regards
              William

It is not possible on the mac, once it appears on accuraterip.com then it will auto configure.

                  Thank you Spoon,

Am I able to submit the offset via the windows version of dBpoweramp?

Yes if you configure then submit the results, and the drive will appear in the next update (about 4 weeks).
