Here is a screenshot of the version I downloaded. I'm sure this is more help than a screenshot of the software.Comment

Back in December you mentioned you had no other ripping options available except Audio CD. However now your screenshot shows you can rip to FLAC but you now have no drive available. Again looking at your previous screenshots it appears you had an external "slim" drive connected, I assume by USB. Is that drive still connected and active? Perhaps it requires an extra power source?

I do have an external CD drive as my laptop doesn't have one included. I plug it into the laptop directly. The thing is when I first used dbpoweramp there were no problems.
I'm attaching the latest error messages from a few days ago.
Thanks 2 10 Information ripping to FLAC, 'Track.txtComment

It is not an error message, it is an Information message stating the tracks were accurately ripped.Comment

I have retrieved my original dbpoweramp registration via my email, downloaded the programme and transferred it to my applications.
However when I try to rip cds I just get a series of error messages for each track. The settings are: ripping to FLAC, and the destination file is clearly listed in Finder and has always worked before.
Looking at possible fixes: for example right clicking on the cd ripper icon with a view to using administrator, I find that the icon is not live.
Secondly I have gone into System Settings; Privacy and Security; added dbpoweramp music converter and cd ripper to full disk access and checked them both on.
None of these have worked.
Can you help me to regain functionality please?
Many thanks

I followed your advice and uninstalled the orig. software and downloaded it afresh. Thank you for all your help.
