See:
macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally macOS will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. This security setting can also be set at a later date, click the Apple menu icon: System Preferences >> Privacy & Security >> Full -

OK, I was able to solve the problem. Problem: use SET to access the destination folder. dBPoweramp gives error message "unable to access folder". Next: manually enter the previous folder in which the destination folder is. Still does not work. Next: manually enter the previous folder; now ripping proceeds. Interrupt ripping, then restart ripping: error accessing again. include next level of folder, i.e., /user/..../lorantmuth/Desktop/0Music and ripping proceeds. Interrupt, restart, ripping proceeds. Essentially, there seems to be a problem with finding the file without an explicit full specification of the destination folder's path. The SET button in the PATH function does not find the destination folder unless I specify all the way to the root /user.Comment

I'm sorry but we're completely unable to recreate this problem.
What kind of Mac are you using and what macOS version?
Can you please post pictures of the "unable to access folder" message? There's no exact match for this message in dBpoweramp code.
Are you using any anti-virus / security software on your Mac?Comment
