macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally macOS will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. This security setting can also be set at a later date, click the Apple menu icon: System Preferences >> Privacy & Security >> Full

I have allowed dBPoweramp and Converter Full Disk Access and set destination Folder permissions to read and write for all. I still get the same message.

OK, I was able to solve the problem. Problem: use SET to access the destination folder. dBPoweramp gives error message "unable to access folder". Next: manually enter the previous folder in which the destination folder is. Still does not work. Next: manually enter the previous folder; now ripping proceeds. Interrupt ripping, then restart ripping: error accessing again. include next level of folder, i.e., /user/..../lorantmuth/Desktop/0Music and ripping proceeds. Interrupt, restart, ripping proceeds. Essentially, there seems to be a problem with finding the file without an explicit full specification of the destination folder's path. The SET button in the PATH function does not find the destination folder unless I specify all the way to the root /user.
