I took a break from ripping my CDs for several months. When I resumed, I started selecting higher resolution album art files. At the time, I thought isn't there a reason not to use the higer res files? For these ripped CDs, there is no folder.jpg containing the album art, and I think this wound up embedding album art these files into the ripped track files, which I did not want to do. Is there a way to extract the embedded album art and add the folder.jpg file, or would it just be easier to re-rip the CDs and select a lower res art tile like I had been doing earlier? Only around 30 CDs, so a pain, but not a huge issue.
How to remove embedded art from ripped tracks and replace with folder.jpg art

There is no need to re-rip the CDs. You can use the converter 'ID Tag Update'. In the registry tab 'Deletions' choose to remove 'Single Tag' and set the tag '[Album Artwork]' to remove. In the registry tab 'Manipulation' you can choose to export the embedded album art to a file.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, my skills using features beyond setting up CD Ripper are very limited. Which program are you referring to? I have CD Ripper, Batch Converter, Perfect Tunes and Music Converter. Don't see any of the options you have mentioned. Where do I start?Comment

Load batch converter, select whole music collection by putting a tick in folder at the root, click convert.
set the encoder to [ID Tag Update] on the deletion tab add album art. Add the option to export to folder.jpg on one of the other tabs. Click convert.Comment
