This is probably a very rare situation, but it's where I'm at.
I have a Windows 11 computer that does not have any peripherals connected to it—there's no space for them right now. Since I have the Pro version of Windows, it comes with Remote Desktop Connection. I use that to connect the computer.
The issue: MakeMKV has no trouble finding the CD (Blu-ray) drive and reading from it, but dBpoweramp insists that there is no CD drive. (Cyberlink applications also cannot figure out that there is a disc drive.) Windows file explorer can read the CD.
When I plug in the peripherals, and use the computer like normal, dBpoweramp works fine.
I realize this might be more of a Microsoft problem. I mean, they somehow made it so that I don't have the option to turn off or restart the computer when connecting to Windows 11, but I can when connecting to Windows 10. Maybe they made some special case for enumerating disc drives too. The fact that MakeMKV is able to work like normal makes me think there's something else going on though.
Also, I am on an older version of dBpoweramp from like 6 months ago. If this sounds like something you have fixed since then.
