CD ripper doesn't load any Metadata

Version 16.6, the cd ripper does not find any meta data,
I have tried checking and unchecking the different providers but the details remain blank.

When I open the cd in itunes the meta data is present,

How can i get this function back please?

    See:

R2024 includes many updates to the ever changing metadata landscape, in the recent years: All Media Guide (AMG) service has been discontinued freedb.org has also been discontinued musicbrainz updated their servers, resulting in R16 or older not being able to read the metadata AccurateRip Meta has been introduced R2024

Since most of the data providers used in v16.6 have mostly disappeared you don't have much choice. Even the couple that remain have significantly changed their data structure and access. The update is paid, but is very discounted if you were a previous customer. The changes are worth the price.

I have just purchased and dowloaded the latest version of dbpoweramp CD ripper and have NO access to metadata. seeing as I bought this software to rip >1000 CDs I am not going to enter the data manually. If you can't provide a fix, then refund the cost of this software!

Software works fine. Sometimes a local computer’s antivirus software blocks access to metadata providers. Check this on your machine.

How can anyone help you or provide a fix, if you didn't even tell us anything about your platform, OS or enviroment. Where did you download the oftware? Is it the registered version?

Check you have the registered version installed, the dBpoweramp control panel will show that, then check no security software if blocking CD Ripper from accessing the internet.

You said it was working, until the last update.

Uninstall dBpoweramp, by opening finder >> applications and drag dBpoweramp to the trash. Visit the registration link and download and install. After install run dBpoweramp control panel >> advanced settings >> internet

and ensure the option to disable access to the internet is not checked.
