    DBPoweramp stopped reading metadata

Hi - longtime user here, I've had this issue before and was able to solve the problem by reinstalling the software. However, this time that did not work. Yesterday I could no longer retrieve metadata on even the most popular titles. I've checked all the settings, done a restart and etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly a firewall blocking access? just checked now and CD Ripper is working correctly.

Thank you for the info, I've gone ahead and added the ripper and converter apps manually to the firewall approved list. But after a restart, still no luck. Weird. It was working fine yesterday morning.

Run this with the option to clear settings, then try CD Ripper without changing any settings (after a reinstall).

...also how to do a full reset of dBpoweramp? (if dBpoweramp crashes for some reason) Where does dBpoweramp save its files / settings? It is installed to c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp or c:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp The 64 bit version of dBpoweramp is installed to: c:\Program Files\dBpoweramp It

Thank you! I've gone through the process several times with no luck.

I just went and re-ticked all the available services after the resets, and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks very much for your help!
