Dear Forum-goers and those in the know,
I have a Nimbie NB21 (but the robot is not the issue here, I'm just mentioning it to provide ocmplete information) that has a SATA to USB 3.0 bridge running a Pinoneer DVR-S21LBK.
Windows devices information:

GenCdRom
Running on DBPoweramp R15 64bit, connected via USB 3.0.
1) Ripping with accurate rip and burst mode results in accurate rips.
-> The CD is fine
-> The computer is fine
-> The USB 3.0 is fine
-> The Pioneer drive can indeed extract audio good enough to match the accurate checksum.
2) Ripping with secure mode results in immediate errors:

5 Tracks Could Not Be Ripped
I don't know what to do to try to fix this. I have tried various secure rip settings, all with no success.
-> I have made an ISO of an audio CD using this hardware setup and then compared the audio cd with the ISO, with 100% reported accuracy of the ISO image.
I would be very happy if someone who has some ideas on what is going on and/or how to correct the secure ripping issue would post their thoughts.
I thank you kindly,
H.Cat
