    Manual offset input

    Hello,
Im still testing dbpoweramp and i like it.
I've been reading about that is not possible to manually enter the drive offset value and have to use accuraterip to do so.
It is the next dbpoweramp version allow us to manually enter the offset value of our drive?

    Thank you

What if for some weird reason i have dbpoweramp on a computer with no internet, dedicated just to rip. Or i have only some few weird cd not available in the database. I just want to be sure that internet won't be an obstacle.

Once dbpa is installed and setup up (with an internet connection), the disk offset will be set and doesn't change afterwards (the offset is for your disk drive, *not* each CD). Then even without the internet you'll be able to rip CDs (entering your metadata manually of course). And without the internet, there is no "database" whether the CD is weird/rare or not. The metadata/artwork "database" is reached via the internet.

AccurateRip REQUIRES an active Internet connection to communicate with the database. Without that connection, it's impossible to know whether your rips are accurate.
