Need help configuring EAC naming like the default dBpoweramp script pls

Hello all, newbie here I'm afraid. I've nearly completed the FLACing of my CD collection using dBpoweramp. It's been brilliant and really easy to use, even though I've needed to use a second laptop with a different drive to read some of my CD's. Unfortunately I have 7 left that even though I've cleaned, changed drives and changed configurations get stuck with unsecure rips.
As a last resort I'd like to give EAC a go with these to see if it manages.
I'm using the dBpoweramp default naming scheme and I'd like to configure EAC to file in the same way. To be honest I can't get my head round these strings so I was wondering if anyone could please help me with the EAC string most similar to the default dBp one:

    [IFCOMP][IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],Various Artists[]\[album]\[track] [artist][][IF!COMP][IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[artist][]\[album]\[artist] - [track][] - [title]

    Thanks alot in the meantime.

why not just rip those 7 cds as FLAC, and then come back to use dbpa AUDIO ARRANGE and ID TAG UPDATE to organize these CDs files/directories following the dbpa setup. You can also use mp3tag to do the same thing.

Thanks for the suggestion Gary.Sorry but I'm going to show my ignorance now.... but once I've used EAC to make a flac copy how do I go about using Audio Arrange and ID Tag Update?

Hopefully someone else can chime in as I don't often use these things, but you first need to install the DSPs for AUDIO ARRANGE and ID TAG UPDATE. Then you "convert to" using batch converter but instead of converting to mp3 or FLAC, you'll be converting to the DSP (which has settings to do what you want, maybe even the same dynamic naming string, can't recall).

just use ID TAG UPDATE to edit all your tag info first. Then use Audio Arrange DSP to have the files names, directories setup, etc. but frankly, with only 7 CDs you can just do this manually in about 10 minutes.

I agree. Well there are only 7 CDs, and as you point out later they can be fixed in a few minutes (especially if you have dBpoweramp's filenames from an earlier attempt ... copy and paste).

But, every now and then most of us find out the metadata provider has screwed up track order etc., and want to correct tags and update naming. So one might very well learn how to fix filenames from tags.

Myself I have a naming scheme which I have implemented in dBpoweramp with dBpoweramp formatting, and one in mp3tag. And if I need one in foobar2000, then I just copy from mp3tag and make the appropriate adjustments there and then (date vs year etc)

Thanks for your input guys. With there only being 7 to fix I'll do it by hand. Here's hoping EAC will be able to rip them otherwise problem solved!
