Hi,
I have been a user of the DBpoweramp reference suite v13 for a few years. I upgraded to v14.2 today.
I'm very happy with the Batch Converter application.
I have used EAC to rip all my CDs up to now but I have decided to give the DBpoweramp CD Ripper a try.
I have a few questions / observations. I am sorry if there are obvious solutions but I can't find them:
1. I would like to rip a CD and keep the both the resulting wav and flac files following the procedure. This allows me to create md5 checksums and shntool analysis of both sets of files before deleting the wavs. I can't find any way to this - is it possible without ripping the CD twice?
2. Is there an option to automatically create log file of the rip and conversion, rather than copy and pasting after every CD?
3. I can't see any option to create cue sheets. Is this possible? If so, how is it done?
4. The ability of CD Ripper to download ablum art is very welcome. However, do not want to embed this in to the resulting flac files and would prefer to just have the jpg in the album directory. This appeared to be possible by not ticking the "Album Art" tag option. However, the jpg is still embedded. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong here?
5. I like the idea of the "Smart Capitilise Tags" option in the meta data menu. However, smart may mean different things to different people. For example, this results in the following track name: "This is What Makes us Girls". I would prefer to capitilise all words, for example "This Is What Makes Us Girls". Is it possible to customise this behaviour?
Thank you for your help
Jon
