During the last year (using dBpoweramp) I ripped my complete CD collection, totalling near 7000 CDs.
I have just bought a PS Audio PWD with Bridge (= streamer + DAc) and installed PlugPlayer as a controller on my Mac.
Now, all of a sudden, my files are a complete mess: Album Artists have been changed (e.g. one of the Artist in the "list of Artists" becomes now the "Album Artist"), parts of the "Album Artist" becomes the Title, Tracks become Artists, etc.
I am completely sure this was NOT the case after I ripped the CDs. E.g. I ripped the Bernstein symphonic edition and all ripped CDs were "present and visible as they should have been" after that; now just a couple of the 80 or so CDs are in the Album list or can be tracked down searching for "Bernstein".
It seems really to be a problem at the file level (meta tags) because when I use as a server eLyric Music Manger, or the server on my LaCie NAS, the same mess appears.
I hope somebody is able and willing to help me...
